Staff Accountant

Who we are looking for.....
A Staff Accountant, reporting to the Corporate Controller. The Staff Accountant will assist with general ledger and accounting activities for the [U.S] based business. This role will also be responsible for other key functions such as the preparation of local tax returns. The ideal candidate for this position will be enthusiastic, ready to learn, and will enjoy working in an open and collaborative environment.
If you would like to...
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Reconcile general ledger activity
- Assist with month-end close and audit preparation activities
- Prepare local tax returns including sales and use tax returns
- Prepare tax schedules
- Research tax laws and regulations
- Take on special projects as needed
And you have...
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
- 0 - 2 years experience in accounting or finance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Strong work ethic and are detail-oriented
