- Manage, mentor, motivate and set direction and vision for distributed team of talented recruiting professionals.
- Build/maintain a world-class recruitment team to secure world-class talent for a unique, charismatic and sometimes chaotic organisation.
- Employ a hands-on approach to recruitment and team-building, including conducting interviews and representing ThoughtWorks / recruitment team at internal & external events.
- Work with team members to establish individual targets & goals.
- Prepare and deliver performance reviews and feedback to recruitment team members.
- Effectively manage team conflict, recognise/leverage individual talents & strengths of team members, and successfully resolve performance issues.
- Connect and collaborate with a variety of stakeholder groups including global recruiting team, other hr functional areas, ThoughtWorkers, candidates, and management.
- Communicate with other team leads and management to provide metrics, define goals and set/monitor hiring targets.
- Socialize changes within stakeholder communities, and promote early adoption of new initiatives/policies.
- Generate creative new ideas and initiatives as well as implement practical, timely solutions to meet critical business needs.
- Modify recruitment strategies and activities to meet the needs of a dynamic business environment.
And you have...
Professional/Recruiting Capabilities:
- 7+ years experience in full-life-cycle recruitment, preferably in the IT space
- Demonstrated initiative, inner-drive, with the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions.
- Experience conducting competency-based interviews for a variety of roles.
- Demonstrated expertise recruiting for higher-level roles such as Project Manager, Program Manager and Engagement Manager.
- Significant active sourcing and outbound recruiting experience.
- Personal interest in technology and software development industry.
- Focused decision-making abilities in a rapidly changing environment.
People/Consultative Skills:
- Strong commitment to collaborative work, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and engage others in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Intuitive, critical listening skills.
