ThoughtWorks is a fast growing technology consultancy with an enviable track record of delivering real business value. Our Australian operation has been around for over seven years and we employ around 100 people. We're in a period of growth and we're currently looking to hire exceptional Project Managers in both our Sydney and Melbourne offices to help us continue to delight our clients.

If you join, you'll play a varied role in a really fast growing, unhierarchical consultancy. This is the place to be if you want to apply your knowledge of software delivery project management in a variety of client environments while constantly using the latest methodologies. You'll get to work alongside truly talented teams and help them enhance their performance by promoting really open communication. As well as ensuring the delivery of bespoke built software, you will also be working with clients to advise them on improving IT processes and the way in which IT staff engage with the business.

We take our hiring very seriously, so to be considered you'll have experience of the following:

• Delivering successful, large-scale software development projects, most of which will have been working on bespoke built enterprise OO applications (ideally Java and C#)
• A strong grasp of project governance, scope management, risk and stakeholder management
• Good knowledge of delivery assurance practices
• Exceptional communication skills
• Exposure to a variety of Project Management methodologies
• An unrivaled passion for delivery
• An interest in or experience of working in a highly collaborative, Agile or Lean environment with self managing teams
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams across the whole SDLC

The following are also highly desirable, but we're negotiable, depending on your experience

• Track record in delivering $multi-million projects
• Experience of project rescue (for our clients, not our projects!)
• Experience in managing IT organisational change within large enterprises
• Broader project management experience, perhaps in infrastructure, integration or package implementation
