J2EE Developer

Responsibilities:

Will work on bespoke-designed, multi-tier, projects that utilize large scale n-tiered object oriented (OO) technologies, such as J2EE and/ or .NET technologies and iterative and Agile Methodologies. Will work on the creation and management of software product/project features, functionality, and specifications for client projects; contribute to every stage in the software solution life cycle, from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, release and maintenance; will coach development teams in the areas of Agile adoption and the application of software engineering best practices, such as object-oriented design patterns, pair-programming, refactoring and test-driven development. Will utilize Open Source Software (OSS) in the development of projects and will utilize C++/.NET, UML, XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. 80% travel throughout the US required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field or foreign equivalent, plus two years of experience in the position offered or in the related position of Software Engineer. Experience must include involvement in the full software engineering life-cycle of a project utilizing Agile Methodologies, including story card estimation, test-driven development, pair programming, refactoring, and continuous integration; Object Oriented Design experience using Java, .NET and XML protocols; and user interface design and programming using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
