Database Administrator

If you would like to...

In this position you will be responsible for managing database issues and contributing to the successful delivery of application development projects. Your responsibilities will also include but not be limited to:

• Database administration
• Data modelling and design
• Work closely with business analysts, developers and architects
• Travel to work at client sites, possibly extensively, which may include opportunities for international travel

And you have...

• At least 5 year experience of mainstream database administration of both development and production databases, including but not limited to Oracle, DB2, and MS SQLServer
• Ability to manage enterprise-level multi-application / multi-database systems
• Strong data modelling skills, especially on high-volume multi-tier systems
• Understanding of relational database design and constraints, for example, referential integrity; triggers, stored procedures and etc
• Ability of performance tuning, sizing, and replication database.
• Programming skills (J2EE/.Net, etc) and certificates (OCP, etc) are a plus, but not a prerequisite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
