ThoughtWorkers have always been active in the software development community - speaking at Conferences across the world. More recently we began hosting events for Business and IT Leaders as well as technology practitioners to share insight and best practice across the industry.
ThoughtWorks industry events first started with the QTBs in Australia, which have grown a fantastic reputation, attracting a regular audience of several hundred IT leaders. The briefings and our Exec Breakfast series are all grounded in reality - our speakers are active practitioners, passionate about their work. We focus on technology in relation to business issues, rather than being deeply technical.
Primarily focussing on the practical application of new, challenging or advanced technologies, informal GeekNights are run more or less regularly in the UK and a MasterClass series is well established in India. These events are by techies for techies, and often include a workshop element.
ThoughtWorks was thrilled to be Platinum Sponsor of Agile 2009 in Chicago this year. Why not check out our iPhone Application which helped conference attendees navigate and plan their conference, and will soon be available at a conference near you - see iTunes store.

Martin Fowler, Dan North, Jim Webber, Rebecca Parsons, Ian Robinson and Neal Ford will be contributing to this year's event in Aarhus For more information on the conference, or to register for a place, see: jaoo website
